Barbie Stops by Pullman
In between the flurry of renowned fashionistas checking in to Pullman Sydney Hyde Park in the lead up to Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia, Barbie – who is on her worldwide search to find her new Dreamhouse – stopped by to check out Sydney’s newest fashionable hotel.
Giving it a plastic-fantastic rating of five out of five-stars, Barbie loved the new-look Pullman Sydney Hyde Park where she was spotted admiring the furnishings and sipping on a Fashion Week inspired strawberry mocktail.
Unveiling a multi-million dollar refurbishment following its rebrand to Australia’s largest five-star hotel brand in May 2012, Pullman Sydney Hyde Park is now officially one of Sydney’s most vibrant and contemporary five-star hotels.
All of the 241-guestrooms have received a striking makeover and the hotel completely redesigned its lobby, adding a sleek new bar – Bar Rendezvous, a Pullman Executive Lounge and Connectivity Lounge.
Ideally located at the cosmopolitan end of Sydney, with magnificent views over Hyde Park and the city skyline on one end and sweeping neighbourhood views of East Sydney on the other, Pullman Sydney Hyde Park is a fashionable and intimate five-star hotel, providing the ultimate base for leisure and business travellers.
Being the Official Hotel sponsor of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia, guests and passersby of Pullman Sydney Hyde Park will be able to watch the day’s highlight runway shows from large TV screens installed in the lobby, while huge black and white behind-the-scenes photographs of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Weeks gone by will be displayed around the hotel.
During Fashion Week Australia, a bespoke, pop up Pullman Connectivity Lounge will be installed in the Hub of the Event, where VIPs, designers, fashion buyers and journalists can relax in plush surrounds while enjoying free Wi-Fi , ideal for bloggers and journalists wanting to update their followers on runway news.
