China Southern Welcomes No Visa Access to Guangzhou and China
Welcoming news from the corporate headquarters of China Southern Airlines in Australia reveals that the airline will soon introduce a 72-hour visa-free stay policy for Australians travelling on its new Canton Route to the World. Guangzhou will be joining Beijing and Shanghai in offering transit without visa access for Australian travellers holding third country visas and relevant air tickets. Expected to apply from mid-2013, the new policy will allow Australians travelling into Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport the opportunity to break up their journey in Guangzhou for up to three days to enjoy all that the vibrant city has to offer.
This news comes as China Southern Airlines takes the upgrading of its Australian services to another level with the introduction of its latest A330-223 airlines offering luxury flatbed comfort in Business Class and personal televisions for all passengers.
Guangzhou Baiyun is China Southern’s largest airport hub. It is also the third largest airport in China and the country’s largest sixth Freedom transfer point.
