Free Kicks for London’s Kids’ Week
August is the month for families to be in London, with Kids’ Week seeing kids go free to over 35 top theatrical shows. The Athenaeum Hotel & Apartments is also getting in on the action, a property renowned for its superb kids facilities, where the theatre district is just a short walk away.
On the house are all those little touches to help your children feel at home: child-sized bathrobes and slippers, DVDs, popcorn, soft drinks, milk and cookies at bedtime, age-appropriate books, toys and games (including Wii, Play Station and Xbox). The hotel’s Kids’ Concierge is also on hand to help orchestrate everything from a bike ride in the park to a city tour.
The line up includes Billy Elliott, Charlie & the Chocolate Factory, The Lion King, War Horse, Mama Mia, I believe in Unicorns, and Jersey Boys.
Any child aged 16 or under can see these shows for free when accompanied by a full paying adult.
Two additional children can go at half price (per transaction). Families just need to book on line via www.kidsweek.co.uk, with no fees involved.
