Vail Resorts announced today a new season pass for Australian skiers and riders looking to access the best of the US and Australia. The Epic Australia Pass replaces Perisher’s Freedom Pass with a new look and unmatched benefits, and now includes access to nine world-class resorts in the US in addition to unlimited access to Perisher, NSW. The Epic Australia Pass is on sale now for only AU$749 for adults, AU$429 for students and AU$499 for seniors. Valid from June 2016 through June 2017, the Epic Australia Pass allows for year-round skiing and snowboarding at a value unmatched in the industry.
In addition to unlimited, unrestricted access at Perisher for the 2016 season, Epic Australia Passholders will also receive access at the best resorts in the US: Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone and Arapahoe Basin in Colorado; Park City in Utah; and Heavenly, Northstar and Kirkwood in the Lake Tahoe region of California and Nevada. All US resort access will be subject to traditional holiday restrictions.
“The acquisition of Perisher has created an incredibly exciting connection between Australian skiers and riders, our mountain resorts in the United States, and Australia’s largest and most popular resort,” said Kirsten Lynch, chief marketing officer of Vail Resorts. “Giving Australians access to world-class resorts in the US including the now largest, Park City, as well as iconic resorts including Vail, Breckenridge and Beaver Creek in addition to Perisher, on the one pass, offers incredible value.”
Located in the picturesque Kosciuszko National Park in SE New South Wales, Perisher’s vast expanse makes it the Southern Hemisphere’s biggest and most popular alpine resort. The resort boasts over 3000 acres of skiable terrain, 47 lifts, seven mountain peaks, five terrain parks, Australia’s only half pipe, more than 100 groomed runs, night skiing and night park.
The Epic Australia Pass is on sale now for the 2016 Australian ski season and the 2016 to 2017 US ski season, at perisher.com.au.
