Wine isn’t the only thing on the menu at Mont Rochelle Hotel and Vineyard. Younger guests, also known as ‘Little Corkers’, can now look forward to a tailor-made itinerary during their stay.
An exciting range of activities is on offer for children to enjoy, whatever their interests. Budding vintners will love getting their hands – or rather, feet – dirty while stomping grapes with our experts, before recharging with a refreshing grape juice tasting. The hotel’s extensive grounds are the ideal setting for a scavenger hunt and picnic, and lawn games dotted throughout are sure to see youngsters getting competitive with the adults.
There’s also plenty for the kids to enjoy in the local area from Giraffe House, Butterfly World or the Farm Sanctuary to chocolate and ice cream tasting at De Villiers Chocolate Café.
At the end of the day, the whole family can relax in their own ‘home away from home’: the exclusive Manor House. The house comes complete with four deluxe suites, a bunk room for up to six children, two private pools and a games room. For smaller families and those staying in the main hotel, children are welcomed on single beds in the spacious Pinotage and Cap Classique suites, which feature a separate lounge and stunning views.
Between 16 April to 30 September 2018 up to two kids under the age of 16 years can stay for free with their parents at Mont Rochelle when booking a Pinotage Suite, Cap Classique Suite or the Manor House.
