Seabourn’s World Class Antarctic Voyages
To ensure that its guests have the best and most memorable Antarctic cruise adventure, Seabourn has contracted some of the world’s most experienced naturalists, scientists, political and historical experts and other lecturers to guide the line’s ‘Ultimate Antarctica and Patagonia’ cruises aboard Seabourn Quest during its first Antarctic season. The expedition team have decades of Antarctic experience and will accompany guests on excursions ashore to add valuable insights to their adventure on all four cruises aboard the Seabourn Quest in 2013 and 2014.
Beginning 20 November 2013, the Seabourn Quest will sail on a 21-day voyage between Valparaíso, (Santiago) Chile and Buenos Aires, Argentina including days exploring the Chilean coast and fjords, Beagle Channel, Glacier Alley, the breathtaking Torres del Paine National Park, Cape Horn, the Falkland/Malvinas Islands, Montevideo and five days of cruising and landings on the Antarctic Continent in uncompromised Seabourn luxury. Prices start from AU$15,814pp.
A 24-day cruise departing 11 December 2013, with prices starting from AU$18,888 pp, will include two days exploring the sub-Antarctic wildlife Eden of South Georgia Island, renowned for its beauty and its vast, teeming rookeries of king penguins and other seabirds, as well as breeding elephant and fur seals.
Award-winning photographers will also be onboard the Seabourn Quest to offer digital photography coaching, helping guests to capture all the sights and stunning scenery that the voyage entails. Seabourn provides all guests with an ice jacket while other specialised equipment, including boots and waterproof pants, will be available for hire onboard.
