The newest the way to travel in Bangkok is with your own customised Tuk Tuk, offered to guests of the The Peninsula Bangkok. The resort has added a fun member to its transportation fleet offering guests a thrilling open-air ride around the city scape with some added luxuries. Being the popular way to get around in Thailand, this three-wheeled vehicle has been altered by The Peninsula to offer guests complimentary Wi-Fi, refreshing drinks and towels on board to make their journey that little bit more comfortable.
The Tuk Tuk will be available to guests taking part in The Peninsula Bangkok’s Thai Home-Style Cooking Class, part of the renowned Peninsula Academy cultural program. Guests will be whisked through Bangkok’s streets to local markets to buy fresh ingredients for the class.
The Tuk Tuk joins The Peninsula Bangkok’s existing fleet of ten BMW 730Ld luxury cars, two Rolls-Royce Silver Spurs, a helicopter and four riverboats which operate between the hotel and nearby piers.
