To mark 25 years of cruises to Alaska, Royal Caribbean has announced its 2014 Alaska cruise programme which is perfect for families looking for a luxury getaway. Newly renovated ‘Radiance of the Seas’ and ‘Rhapsody of the Seas’ cruise liners will offer guests 34 sailings on seven-night itineraries from Vancouver, British Columbia and Seattle, Washington. There will be 11 dining options and kids’ menus available, with the Adventure Ocean kids’ and teen programme returning alongside the new Royal Babies and Tots Nursery, which is suitable for six to 36 month old babies.
Royal Babies and Royal Tots Nursery
The Royal Babies programme (ages six to 18 months) offers the tiniest guests and their parents interactive classes filled with enriching activities developed by early childhood experts at Fisher-Price. The Royal Tots programme (ages 18 to 36 months) offers 45-minute interactive playground sessions filled with age-appropriate activities and toys. Both programmes are hosted by our trained youth staff. A parent or caregiver must accompany the child during all activity sessions.
Adventure Ocean
With the Adventure Ocean youth programmes, not only will your children’s time on board be fun, it will be educational too. Aquanauts (ages three to five years) will have fun conducting cool experiments and becoming Certified Jr. Adventure Scientists. The exclusively designed Explorers programme (ages six to eight years) is packed with exciting activities from themed parties to making gummy sweets. Voyagers (ages nine to 11 years) will explore a range of activities that put the ‘cool’ back into learning.
DreamWorks Experience
Set sail with Royal Caribbean International and share unforgettable moments with your favourite DreamWorks characters. Our young cruisers will enjoy fun activities such as story time, dance parties, parades, ice shows and aqua shows with characters from the DreamWorks Animation films. Just imagine the laughs when they meet Alex, Shrek, Fiona and more.
