The 24 May is the big day at the Orlando theme park, with their latest attraction, the largest in the history of SeaWorld, opening. ‘Antarctica: Empire of the Penguin’ takes visitors on an epic journey through the world’s coldest continent. This first-of-its-kind family ride is suitable for all ages and shows the South Pole through the eyes of its resident penguins. Visitors are taken through this chilly world by a young penguin guide. SeaWorld guests will be surrounded by the sights, sounds and awesome encounters found in this frozen place, embarking on a one-of-a-kind ride and an incredible, one-of-a-kind family adventure.
Through the years, SeaWorld Orlando has taken guests to far-flung corners of the globe, immersing them in the character and feel of exotic places and introducing them to unique worlds of adventure.
But no journey is bigger – or as incredible as this one. It’s a voyage to the bottom-of-the-world, to the coldest and windiest continent, to a place of ice more than 9000-feet thick. It’s a journey to Antarctica and to the empire of the penguin.
