Emirates keeps children entertained

Emirates ice for children

Emirates, one of the world’s fastest growing airlines, have plenty to keep its younger travellers happy on board. From its in-flight entertainment system ice, to menus and toys, there is plenty to keep youngsters (and parents) happy. Kids of all ages can enjoy the special attention offered by Emirates, with monster friends for little ones, and a Quiksilver range of products for older children.

The youngest members of the family can now also join a special frequent flyers program of their own. Skysurfers is dedicated to jet setting children aged between two and 16, with rewards such as free flights and Apple products for their collected miles.

These features make Emirates a perfect choice of airline for families heading to New Zealand this winter. They’re also advertising a range of offers available for the snow season, including return Business Class airfares to Christchurch for AU$1403. Emirates also fly daily to Auckland from Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, as well as to Christchurch from Sydney.

Special onboard services for children and infants include: priority boarding for families with small children, special fares for children aged two to 11, 10kg free baggage allowance for infants not occupying a seat, baby kits, bassinets, nappies and baby change tables.

As part of its children’s product offering, Emirates has specially designed gear in bright colours. They’ve applied a fun purple, green and yellow colour scheme to cutlery, tray mats, snack boxes, headset bags, as well as their toy bags. Special menus for kids, designed specially by the Emirates catering team with their multi-national passengers in mind, allow children to enjoy both a variety of cuisines as well as their favourite dishes.  In addition to a wide variety of options, the menus includes Asian and vegetarian dishes and as well as special offerings such as low protein or medical meals. Special meals can be made available with 24 hours’ notice.
