Australian travellers visiting Hawaii this September will be treated to a culinary experience like no other. More than 70 of the world’s best known chefs, including Australia’s very own Tetsuya, will gather in Hawaii for the annual Hawaii Food & Wine Festival. Set for 1 to 9 September 2013, this year will mark the third anniversary of this annual food and wine festival. This year’s festival will feature five signature evening events and educational daytime culinary experiences on both O’ahu and Maui, a ‘who’s who’ of internationally acclaimed master chefs attending, four master sommeliers, five mixologists, and more than 10 top tier winemakers from Hawaii, mainland US, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, the Philippines and Australia.
Other key events include ‘Taste our Love for the Land’ which pays tribute to the abundance of local ingredients available in Hawaii and will showcase Hawaii’s sustainable future with 18 celebrity chefs.
