Free Family Fun at Florence Court

_NLT1734 (1)

There is something for all the family at this warm and welcoming 18th-century property, the former home of the Earls of Enniskillen. Why not take a step back in time with your children and meet some of the characters who would have called Florence Court home in the 19th century?

Florence Court is offering free activities and adventure to children until the end of August. Every week day at 1:45 they offer a tour specially designed for children where you will join Nanny Elliott or the Tutor, as they show you around the House.

During the weekends more costumed tours are held that are suitable for the whole family where you will meet the Governess, Housekeeper, Housemaid, Tutor, Footman and Butler.

The Stables tea room is open daily serving delicious homemade lunches and treats, and the Coach House gift shop has a wide range of gifts on display to suit all tastes. Bookworld are welcome to browse Nelly Wooly’s second-hand bookshop and take home a bargain.

Children can also explore The Rock Hound Room, a children’s activity area based around a fossil collection that was held by the third Earl. It has lots of activities based around fossils and the children can have a go at dressing up in some Victorian costumes. The Tracker Pack is a little backpack filled with activities for the kids to get out and discover more nature during their time at Florence Court. www.nationaltrust.org.uk/florencecourt
