Silversea Reveals ‘Grand Voyages’ for 2015

Following the unveiling of its World Cruise 2015 last month, Silversea Cruises opens the books on its two Grand Voyages for 2015.

Silver Shadow will depart 7 January on a 62-day ‘Circle South America’ roundtrip voyage from Fort Lauderdale. Highlights include a crossing of the Panama Canal, Chile’s majestic fjords and Rio de Janeiro during Carnival. Fares start at AU$25,560 per person, double occupancy.

On 22 January, Silver Spirit will set sail on a 64-day ‘Southern Cross’ roundtrip voyage from Los Angeles to explore a collection of 32 exotic destinations including Papeete. Fares start at AU$28,485 per person, double occupancy.

For the first time, Silversea is extending special perks to guests sailing full Grand Voyage itineraries. These include a gala Bon Voyage dinner and pre-cruise overnight stay at a luxury hotel, a US$2,000 onboard spending credit (per suite), and commemorative gifts. Plus, for guests on the full ‘Circle South America’ voyage, there will be a complimentary Silversea Experience in Devil’s Island and an exclusive event at Carnival in Rio de Janeiro. Similarly, full-cruise guests will be treated to a complimentary Silversea Experience in Fanning Island (Kiribati) and an exclusive event at the Sydney Opera House on the ‘Southern Cross’ voyage.
