One of Australia’s most acclaimed travel photographers, Richard I’Anson, will host a five-day photographic retreat at Wild Bush Luxury’s striking Bamurru Plains on the Northern Territory’s Mary River Flood Plains. The Top End Wilderness Photo Safari, from 5-9 April 2014, can accommodate a maximum of 10, with an itinerary including morning and afternoon photo sessions with I’Anson, private guided trips through the floodplains and savannah woodlands, and an Airboat tour. Prices start at AU$4799pp.
A highlight of the photo sarfari is a full-day private group trip to Arnhem Land, the country’s greatest stronghold of Aboriginal culture, well-known for its isolation and ancient rock art. Wild Bush Luxury, owner and operator of some of Australia’s most inspirational bush experiences, is offering the unique photo safari following the success of I’Anson’s first sell-out photographic retreat at Bamurru Plains in May of this year.
