PARKROYAL is growing its philosophy of supporting local connections with new Farmers’ Market menus that will become available in July 2014. Guests will be able to enjoy quality, freshly sourced dishes in hotel meetings, events and restaurants, knowing they are supporting nearby independent businesses.
In New South Wales, PARKROYAL Darling Harbour, Sydney and Parramatta are each working with producers such as the Bread & Butter Project created by Sydney’s famous Bourke St Bakery. All of their profits are reinvested into baker training and employment pathways for communities in need.
PARKROYAL Melbourne Airport is working with Victorian farmers such as Milawa Free Range Poultry who locally produce succulent organic, free-range chicken. They are also working with the Milawa Cheese Company whose Burrata has been named Champion Fresh Unripened Cheese two years in a row at Dairy Australia’s Australian Grand Dairy Awards.

The hotel will be offering a Ploughman’s Lunch with a selection of sourdough and rye artesian breads from the Bread & Butter Project, smoked and cured meats from Black Forest Smoke House and homemade terrine and ptés using locally sourced duck and quail.
Conferencing at PARKROYAL Parramatta is made easy with a simple yet delicious gourmet sandwich selection for working lunches. Fillings such as Cajun chicken are then paired with tomato, red onion and pesto mayonnaise, layered on The Bread & Butter Project’s freshly baked muesli bread. This is complemented by gourmet cheeses from Jannei Dairy and fresh fruit salads.
