Luxury property, InterContinental Sydney has this week launched its popular, ‘A Taste Of’ series, with the first of three themed degustation menus, The Dairy, now available for hotel guests and Sydney locals to enjoy. Set in the hotel’s beautiful 19th-century Cafe Opera, the culinary series has returned due to the popularity of last year’s inaugural event. Running throughout the year, each of the three degustation menus comprises five perfectly crafted courses all seamlessly matched with carefully chosen wines. The menus all focus on a different culinary element, with The Dairy (1 to 30 April) followed by Head to Tail (19 May to 14 June) and Foraged Feasting (14 July to 11 August). READ MORE
Dishes on each of the ‘A Taste Of’ degustation menus use locally sourced, fresh produce, encouraging sustainability and seasonality. The dishes will be created by InterContinental Sydney’s Executive Chef, Tamas Pamer and Executive Sous Chef, Julien Poteau.
