This week Silversea marked their 20 year anniversary with the launch of a new luxury cruise ship. Beginning operations in April 1994, Silversea marked their 20 year celebrations in fitting style with the launch of the cruise line’s eighth ship from Broome, Australia. The luxurious Silver Discoverer joins the Silver Explorer and Silver Galapagos as the third expedition ship for Silversea, and during its inaugural season will visit East Asia, New Zealand, the Sun-Antarctic Islands, the Kimberly Coast and more. This is the first time that the Silver Discoverer is sailing under the Silversea name.
