Koh Samui’s new all-villa retreat is promising to reinvent the private-villa experience, focusing on experiential treats for the active and adventurous such as Thai martial arts, yoga, tennis and more. Recently opened Panacea – named after the Greek goddess of healing – is a private hilltop estate overlooking the Gulf of Samui. It comprises five private residences holding a total of 24 suites, and each residence varies in size, coming complete with its own lap pool, culturally-infused interiors and modern amenities and technologies. In celebration of its opening, the resort has an introductory offer allowing guests to enjoy a complimentary night on top of any three-night bookings. This will be available until 31 July 2014.
Panacea aims to offer an experience that is entirely customizable based on personal preferences and requirements. It places special attention on its concierge, entertainment and fitness offerings, as well as offering delicious, healthy menus that utilise local flavours.
Entertainment options are vast and varied, from in-house cinema, karaoke, billiards, a bar with aquarium and a dedicated video-game room. Guests are also able to enjoy jet skis, scuba diving, quad biking, hiking, fishing, golf, zip lining and more, ensuring plenty of means for them to interact with the stunning natural surrounds.
Rates start from US$2200 per night.
