A range of activities and competitions throughout the month of June have been developed by Club Med to highlight its appreciation of the travel agent community. Through promotions such as the Facebook-based ‘Best Story Wins’ and another titled ‘Random Acts of Happiness’, agents will have the chance to win stays at a number of the brand’s properties around the world.
This month also ties in with the launch of an array of tools to support travel advisors including an enhanced consumer website, updates to the Club Med Expert Agent certification programme and other reward programmes, as well as a new newsletter with promotional offers and selling tips.
Best Story Wins – Club Med’s Social Marketing team will conduct a contest on Facebook and via email where Travel Advisors and their clients can submit stories about how they played a role in creating happiness for them on their vacation at Club Med. The top three stories will then be put to a vote on Club Med’s Great Agent Facebook page, with the winning story seeing the agent rewarded with a seven-night vacation for up to four people to Club Med’s newly transformed resort in Cancun. The client contributing the story will receive a three-night vacation for up to four to any Club Med resort in North America.
Random Acts of Happiness – During the month of June, Club Med’s BDMs will be conducting sales calls and lucky Travel Advisor may be rewarded with “random acts of happiness” throughout the month. Travel advisors may be surprised with a fresh flower arrangement, dinner certificates, a spa basket or a gift card. Club Med will award 8 complimentary resort stays one to each of its eight resorts in North America. The awards will be drawn randomly on June 27 from travel advisors who have booked a Club Med vacation in the past two years (July 1, 2012 – June 27, 2014). This is Club Med’s way of saying “thank you for everything you do”.
