This winter guests are being invited to warm up at luxe eco-resort, Emirates Wolgan Valley Resort & Spa, with its two-night Winter Warmer package. It includes two nights in a luxury Heritage Suite with private swimming pool and verandah, gourmet breakfast, lunch and dinner daily, all non-alcoholic beverages, a select range of local wines and beer with meals, and two on-site nature based activities per day. Prices start from AU$740 per person per night, twin share; a saving of $570 per couple. After a day spent exploring the 1600-hectare conservation and wildlife reserve, visitors will enjoy mulled wine and winter canapés (complimentary on one afternoon of their stay), as well as a local port or hot chocolate on turndown each evening.
Emirates Wolgan Valley Resort & Spa was recently named Australia’s Top Hotel 2014 by TripAdvisor for a second year running, so its high standard is undeniable.
Nature-based activities available during the colder months include: horse riding, bush walking, wildlife and cultural tours, star gazing and mountain biking. There is also the Timeless Spa.
The estate will also be offering a new winter-inspired menu showcasing seasonal, regional and organic produce from local boutique farms and producers – including Meredith Farm duck, Kanimbla Valley veal, Mandagery Creek venison and Gilgandra chicken as well as ingredients from the resort’s very own kitchen garden such as heirloom carrots, black turnips and artichokes.
Also, those who stay two nights or more midweek (excluding Friday and Saturday nights) receive a AU$100 spa credit per suite for the Timeless Spa.
