Peppers Convent Hunter Valley is set to open a second dining destination on its estate with new restaurant Eighty Eight to join the existing Roberts Circa 1876. Like most venues in the region, Peppers is a two-night weekend stay, so guests will now be delighted by two unique culinary experiences. Both venues are under the direction of Executive Chef George Francisco.

The new space will have a strong focus on being able to cater to all dietary preferences: once guests book and advise their allergies, intolerances, dislikes, and dietary preferences, they will not have to worry about them again throughout their meal. It is also expected to become a popular destination for private functions – weddings, corporate events and parties.

EIGHTY EIGHT opening hours:
Breakfast (Mon-Sun) 8am to 10am
High Tea (Mon-Sun) 12:30pm to 4:30pm
Lunch (Mon-Sun) 12:00pm to 3:00pm
Dinner (Friday and Saturday) 6:30pm til close

Situated only two hours from Sydney, Peppers Convent is beautifully located amid lush gardens and vineyards. Built in 1909 as home to the Brigidine Order of nuns, it was transported to Pokolbin in 1990, and extensively restored in 2014. It is the combination of location, architecture and ambience that makes The Convent the most magical venue in the Hunter – even earning her a nomination in the 2014 World Luxury Hotel Awards.
