The first World of Nobu, the largest gathering of Celebrity Chef Nobu Matsuhisa and his team of Chefs from restaurants around the globe, will be held at Dubai’s Atlantis, The Palm on 16 and 17 October 2014. Over the two days the creator behind one of the most iconic and recognizable restaurant names, along with his executive and sushi chefs from locations including Malibu, London, Tokyo, Cape Town, Milan and Mykonos, will serve up the best Nobu creations alongside international entertainment in a specially created Nobu pop-up restaurant at the resort’s Asateer.
On Thursday 16 October there will be an opening cocktail party, featuring the finest in food and entertainment from a surprise DJ. From 9pm to 3am, guest can enjoy unlimited tapas from the Nobu Chefs, and the maker of Hokusetsu Sake will be doing pourings and giving special insights into the premium beverage. Tickets for the party start at 450AED (US$122) per person.
Fans of Nobu Dubai’s Friday brunch can enjoy the Global Tasting Festival on 17 October from 12pm to 4pm. Brunch, including unlimited food and spirits, will be 595AED (US$162) per person.
World of Nobu will conclude with a six-course gala dinner from 8pm, complete with entertainment from Salha and The Million Dollar Band and live cooking demonstrations. It will be matched with beverages per course and cost from 995AED (US$270) per person.
In honour of the World of Nobu, Atlantis has introduced the Nobu Getaway package. Starting from 2,845 AED (US$750), the package includes a one-night stay in a deluxe room, entry to the Nobu Cocktail party for two and international breakfast for two. All guests staying at Atlantis, The Palm can enjoy the added benefit of unlimited entry into the Lost Chambers Aquarium and Aquaventure Waterpark.
