To celebrate British Airways’ revamped in-flight menus and wine list, last night (12 February) the airline hosted an exclusive occasion amid the seasonal fun of Ben & Jerry’s Open-Air Cinema, located right by the iconic shores of Sydney’s Bondi Beach.
On arrival guests received a warm welcome, having their photo taken with flight attendants before being led up to a private function space for a sampling of the new fare. LATTE was fortunate to be among the throng, testing the menu which featured fresh prawns and lobster, crisp salads, assorted wraps, cured meats and more.
Alongside fabulous dining, wining and gin-based cocktails, the main entertainment for the evening was new-release blockbuster ‘The Imitation Game’ starring Benedict Cumberbatch. Attendees settled in to watch the film, their comfort assured with plush chair-style beanbags and blankets. All were also given a take-home goodie bag complete with a pair of in-flight first class pyjamas and an amenities kit.
