March special: InterContinental’s taste of Korea in Fiji

A Taste of Korea

InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa will welcome two chefs from the award-winning Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas this week on secondment to launch a Korean culinary affair for March.

Byung Eun Kim and Sangun Jung have a combined culinary experience of 33 years and will work closely with the resort team to create an authentic and memorable dining experience.

“With two culinary veterans arriving, we expect that March will be an exciting time for us. InterContinental Fiji has never featured Korean cuisine before and our kitchen team is excited to learn new techniques from Byung and Sangun,” says Denny Akira Tanaka, Director Dining & Entertainment of the InterContinental Fiji.

“Some highlights in the buffet will be haemul bokeum (sautéed seafood), maeun ojingeu salad (spicy squid salad) and so bul galbi gui (marinated grilled beef ribs),” says Denny. “There are more varieties which will be sure to delight those with a discerning culinary palate!”
