Following a multi-million-dollar renovation project, Sandals Resorts International (SRI) has relaunched its largest resort to date, Sandals Ochi Beach Resort. Formerly known as Sandals Grande Riviera Beach & Villa Golf Resort, the property has been completely rebuilt to offer a dynamic beach experience complete with beach-club ambience, luxurious accommodation and innovative dining concepts.

Sandals Ochi Beach Resort debuts a fresh, modern design aesthetic along with seven new Gourmet Discovery Dining options (bringing its total number of culinary offerings up to 16) including Tapas on the Riviera, Le Gourmand – a high-end French restaurant – and Vista Gourmet / Sky Terrace, a seafood restaurant right on the beach.

The resort also has new landscaping and refreshed accents such as updated furniture, new lighting, Zen ponds and signature fire pits. The scale of this new venture is further shown in the fact that it has 11 bars, 105 swimming pools and a new transportation hub called The Hop, were guests can grab a jitney ride to the beach. Conference rooms and event spaces have also been reworked.

The resort’s entertainment has also been revitalised, and upgraded accommodations focus on providing an increase in full-service VIP treatment in line with the Sandals’ all-inclusive ethos.

“Sandals Ochi Beach Resort is a game-changer for the all-inclusive resort experience in Jamaica,” says Gordon ‘Butch’ Stewart, Chairman of Sandals Resorts International. “With this relaunch, we’ve not only enhanced the resort, but did so with a reimagined guest experience in mind, solidifying Sandals Ochi as Jamaica’s most comprehensive resort in the region.”
