Garuda Indonesia is launching improved connecting times for Australian travellers flying to Europe. With only three hours’ connecting time in Jakarta, passengers will enjoy a seamless trip onto Amsterdam and London on particular flights.
To celebrate these improved schedules, Garuda is offering special fares for passengers flying from Sydney, Melbourne and Perth to Amsterdam and London. Passengers will experience unmatched comfort and Garuda’s renowned hospitality flying from Jakarta to Europe on the airline’s B777-300ER aircraft.

Sydney to Amsterdam: Business Class from $4953* including taxes
Sydney to London: Business Class from $5224* including taxes
Melbourne to Amsterdam: Business Class from $4935* including taxes
Melbourne to London: Business Class from $5206* including taxes
Perth to Amsterdam: Business Class from $4339* including taxes
Perth to London: Business Class from $4610* including taxes
From Australia, passengers will travel via Jakarta with an average three-hour transit then connect onwards to Europe.
Returning passengers will have a transit in Indonesia of eight to 12 hours. Garuda Indonesia suggests passengers take advantage of the free stopover in Jakarta or Bali on their way home to enjoy two holidays in one. Passengers are also able to book combination fares in Economy, Business and First Class.
Passengers will be able to take advantage of Garuda Indonesia’s extensive baggage allowance offering 30kg for Economy, 40kg for Business Class and 50kg for First Class passengers. With Garuda Indonesia‘s complimentary sports equipment allowance of 23kg, passengers are also able to take along any equipment such as surfboards, golf clubs or diving gear at no extra charge.
