Often touted as one of the world’s most exclusive resorts, the iconic One&Only Ocean Club resort has unveiled renovation plans that will further raise the bar for ultra-luxury accommodation in the Bahamas.
The improvements will include entirely renovated and expanded guestrooms and suites in the Hartford Wing, along with expanded dining options within Dune restaurant by Jean-Georges Vongerichten.
Through all developments, the resort will ensure that it retains what guests have always loved – a sense of exclusive privacy beside a relaxed Bahamas beachfront.
Guests will also discover many new luxury experiences once renovations are complete.
Jonah Sonnenborn, head of real estate at Access Industries said, “The planned enhancements are consistent with the secluded private-estate feel of the resort, but will elevate its sophistication and offerings and enrich the guest experience … The new Hartford wing and dining options will amplify the already extraordinary experience of this spectacular property, with its unmatched beachfront and historic Versailles gardens.”
The entire Hartford Wing of One&Only Ocean Club is being renovated, with guestrooms increasing in size by 10sqm and encompassing expansive terraces or balconies with views of the ocean and lush resort gardens.
In addition, each room will have a complete makeover including new furnishings, fabrics and colour schemes that amplify the distinctive palette of The Bahamas – cerulean blues, aquamarine and the bleached white of Bahamian sand.
The Hartford Courtyard will also be completely redesigned to allow for a luxurious relaxation experience for guests.
In addition to the current dining experience at Dune, One&Only Ocean Club will expand both the restaurant and the Dune Deck, enabling more guests to enjoy the dining experience it offers, as well as expanding the culinary choices available.
