The epicentre of Taipei’s summer party scene, the WET Deck at W Taipei, is welcoming this summer with an invite-only Shock Wave Summer Party on 29 May (this Friday) with the opening act by W Taipei Music Curator Sona Eyambe and the most anticipated ROXY 25th anniversary summer fashion show. This is followed by an open-to-public “Shock Wave After Party” on the same night from 11pm to late. The admission is TWD1,000 with one glass of Veuve Clicquot Champagne while the special price for ladies at TWD800 with one glass of Veuve Clicquot.
There is also a summer series Shock Wave Pool Party on every sunny Sunday from 31 May to 30 August.
WET Deck, situated on level 10 of W Taipei with the panoramic view of the city’s skyline, is the ideal summertime club for those wanting to party in style. To raise the bar of this event, W Taipei sets up a million-dollar super-star-concert-standard stage by the pool with a giant WOW-shaped backdrop and a 250-inch-LED screen which definitely creates a wow factor for this splendid summer party. Newly appointed W Taipei Music Curator Sona Eyambe will bring the first music wave with his House style. He has toured around the world with international DJ Derrick Cator and Mark Farina for several events. Also he has spun the DJ turning table for famous luxury brands, like Louis Vuitton and Heineken.
