Tickets to the world’s most famous car race, the Monaco Grand Prix, are included in a new fly/cruise package from Cruise Express which offers the chance to sail aboard a super yacht on the glamorous French and Italian Rivieras.
Departing Australia on 20 May, 2016, the luxury, 14-night package starts with two nights deluxe accommodation in Rome before indulgence-seekers board Windstar Cruises’ stylish, 212-passenger, all-suite ‘super yacht’, Star Breeze, for a seven-night cruise to Nice.
Before arriving in Monaco, passengers will visit the Italian island of Elba, Portovenere in the spectacular Cinque Terre – famous for its cliff-hugging villages, the colourful fishing village of Portofino on the Italian Riviera and the French beach resort of St Tropez on the Côte d’Azur where boutique shopping and celebrity watching are di rigueur.
Star Breeze will then spend two days in the tiny but wealthy principality of Monaco – the world’s second smallest country after Vatican City – where passengers will receive premium seats for the qualifying race of the famed Monaco Grand Prix on 28 May, 2016, and the prestigious final the next day.
The Monaco Grand Prix rates as the world’s top automobile race, with the Formula One cars tracing a narrow and winding 3.3km course through the streets of Monte Carlo.
The 14-night package is priced from $12,799 per person, twin-share.
