Research by Roy Morgan has revealed that Australians are increasingly using mobile phones when travelling overseas.
Over 50% of all Australian mobile phone users who travelled overseas agreed they “need a mobile phone overseas”.
The Hotels.com 2015 Amenities Survey revealed that Wi-Fi is the most important amenity for both leisure and business travellers. In a recent InterContinental Hotels Group survey, 60% of participants identified the importance of staying connected to the internet when travelling.
MY WEBSPOT is the solution for Australians travelling to Europe. The portable hotspot devices offers affordable, unlimited 4G internet access across Europe allowing travellers to stay connected at all times and avoid any surprise data roaming fees on their next phone bill.
The portable devices provide travellers with access to the largest local broadband network from 5€ per day and a unlimited access anywhere in Europe from 10€ per day. This enables customers to utilise Skype and various other social media platforms to stay connected.
Australian journalist Carol Duncan tested out MY WEBSPOT whilst travelling through Europe recently: “The internet now plays a vital role in our lives for both pleasure and work. We are constantly online and mobile, using apps and social media to stay in touch. We have more control and flexibility with our phone plans when travelling overseas however our increasing reliance on the internet means it’s important to have control over our internet data. There’s nothing worse than returning from a holiday to be greeted with exorbitant data roaming charges from your service provider. ”
MY WEBSPOT is also available at various hotels and tourist agencies across Europe.
