Seabourn has unveiled design renderings of the luxurious all-suite, all-veranda accommodations on Seabourn Encore: the line’s newest, ultra-luxury ship, set to launch in 2016. Seabourn Encore will feature 300 spacious suites ranging from 28-sqm to upwards of 120-sqm for the luxurious Wintergarden suites.
“As on every one of our ships, guests will feel right at home when they enter their suite aboard Seabourn Encore,” said Seabourn President Richard Meadows. “The suites will offer many thoughtful amenities and personal touches that we are known for, and will be designed with the style and elegance our guests have come to love and expect from Seabourn.”
The suites were designed by hospitality icon Adam D. Tihany and blend modern design elements and innovations consistent with Seabourn’s reputation for understated elegance. Drawing inspiration from the line’s rich history and yachting heritage, the suites will evoke a residential atmosphere with high-level furniture and rich mahogany wood.
In-suite features and amenities will include a queen-size bed or two twin beds, a separate living area for enjoying expansive ocean views or in-suite dining, a walk-in closet, a choice of pillows and a complimentary mini-bar stocked and refilled daily with guests’ preferences. In the Penthouse Suite guests will have the option of closing off a patterned glass wall to create a private bedroom space.
Entertainment options include an interactive flat-screen TV system featuring hundreds of movies, music, shipboard programming featuring lectures and live views from the bridge, as well as a selection of broadcast network television and radio channels.
Luxuriously modern bathrooms will be all-marble and include a full tub, shower, double sinks, and bespoke bath products from Molton Brown. Each guest will also enjoy a Personal Stewardess service including welcome champagne and canapés, a personalised nightly turndown service, managing laundry needs and drawing a Pure Pampering bath.
The ship will be configured with one additional deck and expanded public areas, and is expected to carry just 600 guests, based on double occupancy.
Seabourn Encore will cruise Australian waters during its first season, making nine maiden calls to Australian ports from Darwin to Geelong between January 22, 2017 and March 17, 2017 following its gala naming ceremony in Singapore in early January.
