On 10 September, LATTE attended an Exclusive French Dinner hosted by the Monaco Government Tourist Bureau, Tahiti Travel Connection and French Travel Connection, in partnership with Air Tahiti Nui and Emirates.

Held at Sydney’s Langham Hotel, the event transported approximately 100 trade partners to Tahiti and Monaco, through a gourmet and sensory display that impressed and through the word of Lea Granado, Tahiti Travel Connection Product and Marketing Manager, who said. “When you arrive in Bora Bora, the blue of the lagoon is so blue that it hurts your eyes.”

Preceded by flowing champagne from Pommery, the meal began with a Tahitian poisson cru, followed with grass-fed Cape Grim beef, and concluded with crème brûlée and summer berries. Entertainment was provided courtesy of Sydney Symphony Orchestra in addition to Tahitian dancers, while door prizes kept attendees on their toes.

The event gave French Travel Connection the opportunity to launch its new 2016 brochure and notify guests of its Monaco incentive. Agents that book clients a minimum 3-night package before 31 October 2015 can win one of three Monaco escapes for two people. The ‘Passport to Monte-Carlo’ is a package that includes a free helicopter departure transfer between Monaco and Nice, VIP attention in each hotel and a book of free entry tickets to the museums and attractions of the principality.

Tahiti Travel Connection also introduced the Brando incentive to guests. Agents that book clients for a minimum of 3 nights a the Brando, an atoll in the Pacific acquired by Hollywood actor Marlon Brando, will be entered in the draw to win a $150 gift.com.au voucher. The Brando is just a 25-minute flight from the island of Tahiti and features 35 villas equipped with private beach area and infinity pool.
