Crystal Cruises’ 2017 World Cruise will feature 6 abbreviated segments available to sail. The segments, ranging from 10 to 23 days and each featuring at least one overnight stay, will offer concentrated routes that highlight the culture, nature and history of each of the countries visited.

Focused on up-and-coming destinations of South America and the Caribbean – plus the first World Cruise visit to Antarctica in 10 years – the 94-day journey sails round-trip from Miami aboard Crystal Serenity, embarking on 10 January 2017.

Crystal’s Silver Celebration Fares have now been extended, which offer significant savings off the all-inclusive cruise fares, plus up to $500 “As You Wish” spending credits per stateroom for bookings made by 30 December 2015

“The 2017 World Cruise and its segments are the ultimate opportunity for travellers to experience varied nuances of the destinations with a prolonged amount of time exploring several ports in nearly every country visited,” says Crystal’s president & CEO, Edie Rodriguez. “Guests who enjoy delving deeper into locales will find that a Crystal World Cruise is the ideal way to do it, with enriching experiences designed by destination experts, plus the luxury and attention to detail that makes Crystal the number one choice of discerning travellers.”

January 11 (11 days) – From Miami to Colón, Panama, the cruise explores ancient Mayan ruins sites in ports along Mexico’s coast, plus the coral reefs of Honduras and jungles of Costa Rica.

January 23 (20 days) – After an overnight in Colón, Panama the ship transits through the locks en route to Ecuador then on to several Peruvian ports (including two maiden calls) and concluding with 4 days in Chile highlighted by a 3-night inclusive exploration of Machu Picchu.

February 8 (23 days) – The adventure begins before boarding the ship, with an inclusive pre-cruise 3-night Extended Land Program to Machu Picchu; then continues as the voyage embarks on 11 days exploring Chile and Argentina, before cruising Cape Horn, Antarctica and the Falkland Islands before returning to Uruguay and Argentina.

March 3 (11 days) – The sailing visits Argentina and Uruguay, plus 7 nights in Brazil, with overnight stays in Buenos Aires, Buzios and Rio de Janeiro to maximise the renowned social and culinary scenes after dark.

March 14 (22 days) – The intensive Brazilian itinerary also begins with an inclusive 2-night, pre-cruise Extended Land Program and features 16 days amid Brazil’s architecture, waterways and bridges, cosmopolitan hubs and monuments. Calls to Devil’s Island, Granada and Barbados lend some Caribbean flair to the sailing.

April 5 (10 days) – The final segment of the full World Cruise departs Barbados after an overnight stay, then sails through St Lucia, Martinique, St Barts, Samaná, Grand Turk and Key West, before concluding on the shores of Miami.

Crystal’s 2017 ‘Southern Celebración’ World Cruise segments are available for booking now, with all-new low fares in most categories starting at $3865 per person when booked by 30 December 2015. A complimentary extended land programme is available to guests sailing in a Deluxe Stateroom with Verandah and Penthouse category accommodations only.

The all-inclusive full World Cruise fares begin at $35,340 per person when also booked by 30 December 2015 and include special onboard programmes, two exclusive shore-side events, and $1000 As You Wish Shipboard Credit.
