Cathay Pacific’s Good Food Month special fares

Cathay Pacific, the official airline partner of Good Food Month, has released special fares to Hong Kong, China and selected destinations in Asia to celebrate its partnership with Australia’s largest food festival. Good Food month has just launched in Sydney and will take place in Melbourne next month.

“At Cathay Pacific we believe in travelling well and of course eating well is an essential part of the experience. We are very proud to be the official airline partner of Good Food Month for the second year running. It’s a natural fit for us as with over 170 destinations around the world we offer delicious menu options for a diverse range of tastes,” says Richard Jones, Sales and Marketing Manager, Cathay Pacific Airways Australia.

The Good Food Month fares are on sale for a limited time only and start from just $632 to Beijing from Melbourne or $665 to Hong Kong from Sydney in Economy Class return. The special fares have to be booked before 15 November and are for travel between 11 January 2016 to 31 August 2016.

This year we’ve created a Cathay Pacific Pavilion which adds to the atmosphere with a socially-activated, interactive light piece. By using our #LifeWellTravelled hashtag you can engage with us plus go into the draw to win two return Premium Economy Class tickets to Hong Kong.”

Cathay Pacific has also announced that it will continue its partnership with Good Food Month in 2016, and will be present at even more Night Noodle Markets around Australia including The Night Noodle Markets in Perth and Adelaide.

Night Noodle Market Competition 

Visitors to the Sydney (October) and Melbourne (November) Night Noodle Markets can make the light piece centred in the middle of the Cathay Pacific Pavilion light up, plus go into the draw to win two Premium Economy return flights to Hong Kong – one of the food capitals of the world – by posting a picture on Instagram using the #LifeWellTravelled hashtag.

To enter, entrants have to:

  1. Follow @CathayPacific on Instagram
  2. Snap a photo of your Cathay Pacific experience at the Night Noodle Markets
  3. Upload the picture onto Instagram and tag #LifeWellTravelled (which will light up the brush wing if they enter at the Night Noodle Markets).

There will also be Cathay Pacific brand ambassadors at the Night Noodle Markets and entrants are able enter the draw via the iPads available to enter into the draw if they do not have an Instagram account.
