Two back-to-back escorted voyages form part of a 33-night luxury holiday package from Cruise Express that showcases southern and northern Europe in 2016.

As part of the ‘Contrasts of Europe’ hosted cruise package with Celebrity Cruises, free selected beer, wine, spirits and cocktails will be offered on both cruises for bookings made in balcony cabins and above.

Departing Australia on 18 May 2016, the tour begins with a 12-night voyage from Venice to Rome aboard Celebrity Cruises’ 2034-passenger ship, Celebrity Constellation.

The cruise will visit nine ports including the medieval Slovenian city of Koper, Ravenna in Italy, the Croatian seaside city of Zadar, sun-blessed Split on Croatia’s Dalmatian Coast and the fjord-lined, old-world town of Kotor in Montenegro. Other ports visited are the walled city of Dubrovnik, Malta’s baroque capital city of Valletta, Catania in Sicily – renowned for the world’s best pasta – and Salerno on Italy’s picture-postcard Amalfi Coast.

Disembarking in Rome, passengers will then stay in the eternal city for two nights in a deluxe hotel, with a half-day tour of the Vatican included, before flying to London for a three-night stay. In England, Cruise Express will host a tour featuring Westminster Abbey, Tower Bridge, the Tower of London, Big Ben, Buckingham Palace and a ride on the London Eye. Also included is a visit to Windsor Castle – the oldest and largest occupied castle in the world, dating back to the 11th century and still used by the Queen today.

From Southampton, guests will then embark on the second cruise, a 14-night round-trip itinerary aboard the 2850-passenger Celebrity Eclipse to Belgium, Scandinavia, Russia, Germany and Estonia. Six ports are featured including the imperial, palace-filled city of St Petersburg, where the ship docks for two nights so passengers can enjoy an in-depth exploration of the city’s world-famous architectural jewels.

Other memorable experiences include the chocolate shops and lace boutiques of Bruges, the palaces of Stockholm, the cobbled lanes of Tallinn, Brandenburg Gate in Berlin and the famous gardens and mermaid statue in Copenhagen.

Hosted by a Cruise Express Tour Manager the entire way, the 33-night ‘Contrasts of Europe’ package is available from $11,990 per person, twin-share, in an inside stateroom or $18,990 for solo travellers. This includes return Emirates airfares from Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide or Perth and a flight from Rome to London. Three nights in London and two in Rome are also included as well as gratuities and welcome and farewell dinners.

Bookings made in a balcony cabin from $14,390 per person, twin-share, or $23,390 for solo travellers, receive added value with a Classic Beverage Package aboard both ships. A two-night stopover in Dubai with accommodation and sightseeing is available from $699 per person, twin-share, or $899 for solo passengers.
