W Taipei presents the ‘W T Time – When Mr Choco Meets Ms Passion’ afternoon tea at the kitchen table, featuring a variety of sweets and savouries made with chocolate and passion fruit.
‘W T Time – when Mr Choco Meets Ms Passion’ offers delicate desserts made by Sweetologist Ho, including chocolate ganache crisp, milkshake jelly, chocolate éclair, crème brûlée, cream puffs, scones, mousse, roulade, chocolate truffles and more. While enjoying the sweets from the buffet stations, exquisite savouries designed by Executive Chef Brandley are also meant to arouse diners’ appetites with custom-made sauce infused with passion fruit and chocolate, such as chili chimichurri sauce, mole sauce and coriander-passion fruit sauce.
The highlight selections of the afternoon tea include snapper and crab cake with coriander-passion fruit salsa, chicken satay with passion fruit chutney, crispy braised chicken taquito with mole sauce, passion fruit-glazed prawn skewer with chili chimichurri sauce, hot and spicy chicken wing with coriander-passion fruit sauce, s’mores pizza (Nutella, marshmallow, graham cracker, chocolate ganache), Guanaja chocolate ganache crisp, pistachio cocoa basket, Tonka milk chocolate mousses hazelnut chips, passion fruit crème brûlée and mini chocolate Pavlova, and passion fruit cream.
Designed by W Taipei Executive Chef Brandley Froehlich and Sweetologist Yu Mei Ho, the afternoon tea is priced at TWD800+10% per person and is served daily at the kitchen table from 3pm – 5pm (weekends from 3.30pm).
