Art-lovers can watch world-acclaimed Mutitjulu artists’ dot paintings come to life and visit Wintjiri Arts & Museum to view the works of its Artist in Residence, learn about the Anangu culture and the local history, geology, flora and fauna. Tales of Aboriginal culture and traditions such as hunting and gathering bush tucker can be heard at Bush Yarns, or guests can watch colourful Anangu bush dances.
Guided Garden Walks will take nature enthusiasts through the outback surrounds to discover local flora, bush foods and bush medicine, or more independent travellers can collect a Garden Walk Pocket Guide from hotel reception and take a self-guided tour.
Those seeking traditional festive celebrations can enjoy the annual Christmas Carols & Music Concert taking place on Sunday 20 December. Guests can browse market stalls, watch a special Christmas performance by Putitja Dancers and dance into the night with a ‘Party Hits’ Music Concert with a special performance by former Chocolate Starfish frontman Adam Thompson.
