Extraordinary experiences abound this holiday season at Six Senses Zighy Bay, with a variety of one-of-a-kind offerings to create remarkable memories. The Six Senses team has lined up a series of relaxing, educational and entertaining programmes from 21 December 2015 to 8 January 2016 to suit guests’ preferences which allow them to combine and customise activities on the ground, in the water and up in the air.

Holiday dining

The international culinary team will feature some of their favorite holiday dishes on a special curated menu including a dedicated corner just for the little ones to enjoy during Christmas and New Year’s Eve.

Sense on the Edge has prepared a distinctive 7-course menu for New Year’s Eve featuring caviar, truffles, Canadian lobster, Wagyu beef, champagne and Valrhona chocolate, combined with views of the Hajar Mountains and the warm melodies of a jazzy duo.

Meanwhile the 2016 Countdown Gala Dinner will be held at the saltwater pool area featuring the resort’s live action stations showcasing extensive fare such as Canadian and Omani lobster, seafood from around the world including hand-shucked oysters, freshly grilled award-winning Blackmore Wagyu and Black Angus beef cuts and Australia’s finest Peters Farms’ whole lamb roasted in the Shua Shack’s pit among many other dishes. The resort has organised vibrant entertainment to light up the night starting from the sounds of Schizophonic music from the decades as well as the sparks of Desert Heat with its exotic music to a spectacular countdown by the beach.

Festive wellness

Six Senses Spa at Zighy Bay combines innovative and holistic treatments from in-house experts and visiting wellness consultants to assist guests to restore and regain their physical and emotional equilibrium, just in time to welcome 2016.

A New Year New Look ritual has been prepared by the team for those who wish to balance their inner and outer beauty through a meaningful combination of treatments, which includes a file and polish, Rose Crystal Lymphatic facial by Organic Pharmacy and yoghurt and honey body ritual.

The fun stuff 

Junior guests aged between 4 and 8 years old will enjoy fun activities at Chaica’s Club such as treasure hunts, Arabic lessons, Christmas card making and a visit to the organic garden. The Al Feetean Club will keep guests aged between 8 and 16 years old busy with bungee trampoline, archery, abseiling and more.
