Centara tours Australia to thank Key Industry Partners

A delegation of Centara Hotels & Resorts representatives toured across Australia last week to host a number of ‘Centara Appreciation Lunches’ in Sydney, Brisbane, Perth and Melbourne.

“Australia is currently Centara’s number three market and we would like to thank our travel industry partners for their ongoing support that has helped us to yet another year of growth and success” said Charlie Ridout, sales and marketing representative for Centara in Australia and New Zealand.

Milestones for Centara this year included the announcement of a number of resort openings, the rolling out of Carpe Diem, a brand new activity program for families as well as a range of exciting F&B product developments including the introduction of a new ‘Coast’ Beach Bar concept in selected properties.

Apart from the appreciation lunches the Centara delegates were meeting and training travel industry professionals in retail, wholesale, MICE, corporate, airlines and NTOs.

Travelling with Centara Hotels & Resorts as part of the delegation were Chris Bailey – Chief Operating Officer, Popo Hartopo – Group Director of Sales for Pacific Region and Charlie Ridout, Sales and Marketing Representative for Centara in Australia and New Zealand.

Currently Centara have 44 hotels and resorts and by 2018 will have added a further 21 hotels both within Thailand and overseas including new projects in Doha, Muscat, Maldives, Cuba and Laos.
