This Valentine’s Day, lovebirds staying at the Outrigger Waikiki Beach Resort or the Outrigger Reef Waikiki Beach Resort have the chance to renew their vows in an exclusive romantic offer.

The romantic ceremony is inspired by an ancient Hawaiian custom, Hoao Paa, and will take place on the shore fronting the Outrigger Reef on the Beach, with impeccable views of Diamond Head and the Pacific Ocean. It begins with a traditional Hawaiian ‘cleansing’ chant, continues with the exchanging of vows, a sprinkling of seawater symbolising the preservation of everlasting love, and concludes with a performance of the Hawaiian Wedding Song and hula. Couples are offered one complimentary photo, a commemorative certificate, and champagne and sparkling cider.

VP of corporate communications for Outrigger Enterprises Group, Bitsy Kelley, elaborates on the enticing offer, “We want our guests to experience all of the magic and romance that Hawaii and Outrigger Resorts has to offer, and our Hawaiian vow-renewal ceremony is the perfect setting to do that. We are thrilled to enable couples to ‘hoi hou ke aloha,’ or fall in love all over again, and provide an experience that each couple will remember forever.”

Couples who wish to take advantage of this offer must sign up to participate at their respective hotel’s concierge or front desk by 3 p.m. on the day prior to the ceremony, and must register at 7:30 a.m. on February 14, at Outrigger Reef Waikiki Beach Resort in the Ocean Tower Lobby.
