The five-night Himalayan Explorer package encapsulates the essence of both properties and is facilitated by COMO’s most experienced tour guides. Leading guests through the valleys, the five-night journey begins with an overnight stay at Uma by COMO Paro, before travelling the 126 kilometres through Thimphu to the Punakha Valley where travellers come across the 3000m-high mountain pass of Dochu La.
Staying at Uma by COMO Punakha, day two, three and four brings a journey of exploration, from the lush Punakha Valley to the rice paddies of Chimmi Lhakhang and the homesteads of Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Chorten.
Travelling through apple orchards and the mountains of Tamchog Lhakhang, the calming surrounds are the perfect way to spend the day journeying back home to Uma by COMO Paro where voyagers can recharge on their final night and indulge in one of the COMO Shambhala treatments.
