Tiger Palm restaurant, located in Seminyak, Bali, has announced its lunch menu. Drawing from the cuisine culture of Malaysia, with influences of Nyonya and Thai cooking, and historically inspired by the Chinese traders and self-starting businessmen from Southern India, Chef Will Meyrick has brought these spectacular dishes from the streets of the region into the Tiger Palm kitchen.
Chef Meyrick’s career has taken him from London to Sydney and then into South-East Asia, where he has established himself as one of the region’s most innovative, high-profile and well-respected restaurateurs. Meyrick has spent years observing, learning and also teaching the art of ‘street food cooking’ at the grass-roots level, establishing mutually respectful and lasting relationships with the ‘real’ chefs of Asia and developing a philosophy very much centered around giving back to the communities he loves.
The new menu includes ‘Malaysian Street Stall Snacks’, ‘Foodcourt Heroes’ and ‘Signature Hawker Dishes’.
