Fairmont Hotels & Resorts has announced the continuation of their F-scapes collection. Created especially to make the most of the winter season at some of North America’s most luxurious properties, the packages offer travellers exclusive insider access to the locales in which Fairmont is located.
Fairmont is introducing a selection of the new F-scapes packages, available now through 30 April 2016:
Peak performance
Adventure lovers can take flight amidst Colorado’s San Juan Mountains with an aerial sightseeing package from Fairmont Heritage Place, Franz Klammer Lodge. Guests will lift off from Mountain Village at sunset in a helicopter stocked with delicious snacks and refreshments to marvel at the peaks which soar some 400 metres. Led by a local mountaineering guide, guests will land in alpine meadows and a luxurious slope-side suite. Prices start from $3900 for four nights for up to four people.
Haute Art
With Fairmont Pacific Rim’s art package, guests will take in the sights of the city’s landmark Vancouver Art Gallery, with a guided tour of the heritage building and its featured exhibits—all before the gallery even opens to the public; experience the art of sushi-making with a customised Omakase sushi dinner at The RawBar; and discover the hotel’s art and architecture with a self-guided podcast tour throughout the property. Prices start from $889 a night for two people.
Taste of tradition
Fairmont Southampton is offering a Bermudian experience to satisfy guests’ culinary curiosities. Guests will spend the next morning on a private tour of the hotel kitchens and herb gardens, followed by an exclusive cooking class with the chef, and the evening channelling their inner mixologists with a Gosling’s Rum tasting and enjoying a meal at the historic Waterlot Inn restaurant. Prices start from $981 for three nights for two people.
Winter wonder
Accompanied by a local guide, Fairmont Winnipeg with take guests on a skate along the Forks River Trail and a swim in the outdoor thermal pools at Thermëa Spa. Upon returning to the hotel, the certified tea sommelier will lead guests through an exclusive tea tasting. Prices start from $369 a night for two people.
Relaxation and restoration
Discover the Riviera Maya with an eco-culinary experience from Fairmont Mayakoba: guests will join Alonso Ortiz, the Ecology Manager, a senior member of Oceanus A.C., or an expert from the Coral Reef Restoration Team on a fascinating adventure of discovery with a private snorkeling tour of the resort’s coral nursery. Afterwards, guests can indulge in unlimited dining and drinks at the newly renovated restaurants. Prices start from $476 a night for two people.
Break the ice
Escorted by seasoned local fishing guides, Fairmont Chateau Whistler will take guests through Whistler’s landscape of snow-capped slopes, frosty evergreens, clear mountain streams and pristine ice-covered lakes. Guests can cast a line in search of freshwater rainbow trout, Kokanee, pike and more, followed by an open-air lunch and the catch of the day being prepared by hotel chefs for dinner. Prices start from $1,575 for a two night package for two people.
Stargazing
Nestled within Alberta’s Jasper National Park, the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge is offering a visit to one of the world’s largest Dark Sky Preserves. Guests will join the experts at the Jasper Planetarium on a journey through the lakes, peaks and glaciers of the Canadian Rockies at night, as well as a nocturnal flight. prices start from $918 for two nights for two people.
