COMO Hotels and Resorts’ Paola Navone-designed Phuket property is pleased to announce the opening of COMO Beach Club on Naka Yai Island. Located just 20 minutes by boat from the resort, the new offshore destination adds another dimension to the COMO experience on Phuket’s serene east coast.
During a day of island escapism, relaxation is made simple. Lying on the beach is an ideal way to soak up the calm surroundings, or take a dip into the Andaman Sea with help from the beach club’s watersport centre. The beachside restaurant and bar serves a selection of delicious dishes and drinks, ideal for a day on the beach. Those seeking peace can retreat inside one of 13 private salas, each with a daybed, seat area and bathroom. COMO Shambhala treatments will also be available on the island.
COMO Beach Club also features a saltwater swimming pool with a large sundeck and loungers. For younger guests, Play by COMO children’s activities are offered. To reach the island, Point Yamu provides complimentary private boat transfers each day.
The beach club complements the existing features at Point Yamu, where accommodation includes 27 one-, two-, three- and four-bedroom villas, 50 suites and 29 rooms. There are also two restaurants, a poolside bar, and a 100-metre pool. Holistic wellbeing is catered for at COMO Shambhala Retreat, offering Asian-inspired therapies.
