The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali is proud to announce that its Wellness Specialist, Jitendra Pokhriyal, represented the property as one of the guest instructors in the 2016 MNC Yoga Festival. This enlivening initiative took place at Peninsular Island, ITDC Nusa Dua on Saturday, 27 February 2016. It was staged to coincide with a similar event happening simultaneously in the city of Bandung.
More than 700 local yoga enthusiasts participated in the festival where various instructors conducted group sessions of stretching exercises with synchronised deep breathing. Jitendra led his own thoughtfully guided session of yoga at sunset with assistance from members of the Westin Yoga Club. Hailing from the birthplace of yoga in India, Jitendra is trained in several different disciplines of yoga. He is also well-versed in meditation and pranic healing, which is a highly evolved form of touch-less healing.
The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali fully supported the 2016 MNC Yoga Festival as it complements the brand’s wellness philosophy. Jitendra was honoured to have a key role in such an uplifting event and share his expertise with so many like-minded yoga devotees in Bali.
