Mövenpick Siam Hotel Pattaya has opened its doors to set a new upscale hospitality benchmark on pristine Na Jomtien Beach.

The official opening was marked by a Thai high-society wedding event on 6 February, when Ms Pratarnporn Phornprapha, tied the knot with Mr Alexandre Lorent in a gala event for 200 people.

Since then, the hotel has been accepting guests from all over the world, with Thailand, China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Korea, Taiwan and Russia the most popular source markets to date.

“We are delighted by the response,” said Mövenpick Siam Hotel Pattaya GM Hayden Edgtton. “The whole team has worked very hard and can be proud to reach this milestone as we now look forward to offering consistent high levels of Swiss-inspired hospitality for which the Mövenpick brand is renowned worldwide.”

Located next to Ocean Marina Yacht Club, a 75-minutes drive from Suvarnabhumi International Airport, the 262-room resort is the first five-star beachfront property in Na Jomtien, offering spacious accommodation, all with panoramic sunset views of the Gulf of Thailand.

Guests can also look forward to Mövenpick’s complimentary daily Chocolate Hour held in the lobby area just outside Red Coral bar every day from 4pm to 5pm.

Event space at the resort features seven-metre high ceilings and sea views. Its banquet facilities cater to 300 guests for a gala dinner or 250 guests in a theatre-style configuration as well as meeting rooms on the executive floor.
