The Peninsula New York is bringing the classic story of Peter Rabbit to life this Easter with a wide variety of ‘egg-citing’ themed events perfect for the whole family to enjoy. Adults and children alike are invited to celebrate with loved ones all weekend long and take part in a variety of activities including a delicious brunch in Clement Restaurant with a bunny farm, experience the famed Peninsula Afternoon Tea full of sweet treats and participate in a magical Easter egg decorating class, among other happenings.
Children can join in on the hotel’s annual Easter Egg Decorating Class, taking place on Saturday 26 March, alongside the culinary team. Each child will decorate a 17cm-tall chocolate egg with the assistance of the hotel’s experienced confectionery creators. The event will be further enhanced with a child-friendly tea service including hot cocoa, finger sandwiches, cookies and a candy station, along with a personal appearance by the Easter Bunny, who will hop in to help the children with their activities.
While the children are occupied with their Easter egg masterpieces, their accompanying adults will enjoy an afternoon tea buffet of delightful tea sandwiches, pastries and scones accompanied by a selection of teas.

Gotham Lounge’s Peter Rabbit Afternoon Tea will present an intriguing selection of savoury treats from Mr. McGregor’s herb garden, such as saffron and dill chive mini lobster rolls and roast beef on seven-grain toast with red radish rosemary pickles, along with a luscious assortment of housemade pastries such as carrot cake, pistachio-coconut cake pops and a raspberry lemon tartlet, complimented by a selection of tea for all. A Children’s Afternoon Tea will also be available.

Clement Restaurant will host a Peter Rabbit-themed Easter Brunch on Sunday 27 March. Featuring an ‘egg-stravagant’ gastronomic spread encompassing more than 50 delectable dishes including an appetiser garden, selection of cheeses, a raw bar of glistening oysters, prawns, crab legs and claws, an eggs-your-way station, berry garden and cake corner, among other offerings. Guests will also have the opportunity to view Peter and his siblings at the ‘Bunny Farm’ set up in the hotel’s palm court, alongside their handler.
