The MEA Industry Awards recognise excellence and best business practice in the Meetings and Events Industry. They encourage industry professionals to excel in the achievement of their business and personal goals, and reward those who achieve outstanding results. Pan Pacific Perth reigned victorious on last Thursday night taking home the award for ‘Meeting Venue – 500 Delegates or More’ for the third consecutive year. The hotel holds the largest Convention Floor of any 5-star hotel in the Perth CBD, with 2,595 square metres of function space which includes 11 meeting rooms, two ballrooms and generous pre-function areas.
Additionally, the hotel was proud to have Sarah Martin acknowledged for the second year with the ‘Business Development Person to the Year’ Award for her efforts in MICE Business Development for the property. Martin was joined by hotel co-worker Izumi Kawaharada, the Banquets Manager who was also successful in winning ‘Operations Person of the Year’ Award.
