For more than 30 years, Seatrade Cruise Global has been the leading annual global B2B event for the cruise industry by bringing together buyers and suppliers for a week of networking, sourcing, innovation and education. Its latest conference ran from 14 to 17 March at the Fort Lauderdale Broward County Convention Centre in Florida.
Exhibitors had the opportunity to showcase products and services to the influential buyers and decision-makers present. Attendees had access to Seatrade’s highly regarded educational conference programme, gain admission to the trade show floor covering all sectors of the international cruise industry, and a wide variety of networking and social events.
The 2016 conference featured a new four-one-three rolling panel format for the State of the Global Cruise Industry Panel, which was moderated by CBS News Travel Editor and PBS’s “The Travel Detective” Peter Greenberg. The panel commenced with four key executives from the world’s leading cruise lines. The “Innovating FOUR the Future” panel featured Frank Del Rio, President & CEO, Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd, Arnold Donald, President & CEO, Carnival Corporation, Richard Fain, Chairman & CEO, Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd, and Pierfrancesco Vago, Executive Chairman, MSC Cruises.
The event also featured the new Culinary & Mixology Exploration panel, co-moderated by Angela Moore, Vice President of the Food Network and Cooking Channel, and Ken Taylor, Vice President of Strategic Development of MarkeTeam.
