One of the best chances of experiencing the Northern Lights is on a Hurtigruten Voyage during the winter season. In fact, Hurtigruten is so confident that passengers will see the magical Northern Light’s that it is again issuing a Northern Lights Promise across the 2016/17 winter season.
Applicable to passengers booking the 12-day Classic Round Voyage between 1 October 2016 to 31 March 2017, if passengers are unlucky enough that the Northern Lights don’t occur during the voyage, Hurtigruten will send them to try again next winter.

The Classic Round Voyage hugs the Norwegian coastline from Bergen up to Kirkenes, where it turns around and starts its journey south back to Bergen. Weaving through narrow waterways and fjords on small yet comfortable working ships, passengers will visit off the beaten track towns and villages and try activities that most tourists to Norway never have a chance to experience.
